Apex Court gives another date for further hearing
The Apex court after postponing the hearing for two days heard the arguments from counsels for both ISKCON Mumbai and Bangalore. The hearing was before the divisional bench of Hon Justice Altmas Kabir and Hon Justice Nijjar in court hall no 2 of the Supreme Court.
We had given an update about the ongoing legal dispute http://iskcontimes.com/court-case-update-may92012 about the postponement of hearing to Thursday. The case came up for hearing finally on Thursday before the divisional bench of the Honorable Supreme Court. The bench was slated to hear two interim applications and a contempt petition. ISKCON Mumbai was represented by their Senior Counsel Sri KK Venugopal whereas ISKCON Bangalore was represented by Senior Counsels Sri Ranjit Kumar and Sri Jayadeep.
After hearing the arguments from both counsels the Honorarble court posted the matter for further hearing on 22nd Aug 2012.
